Chronic Cough

I’m not a physician but I would not be surprised if your wife is experiencing issues due to one of the many respiratory bugs going around. Coming off a cruise in 2019 we were both sick for weeks and finally got antibiotics and a diagnosis of walking pneumonia. These things are tough to diagnose and to treat. We were sick for more than a month with a dry cough and we are both in excellent health- very active etc.

Hope you find the root cause. For me, my cough is a result of my heart issues and pulmonary hypertension. John

Thanks all! She's been seen by her GP and had chest X-ray. Various regimens suggested by docs have not yielded positive results. Our transition to fulltime has us looking to change GP and are starting to look ahead to Lake City, FL area (we own a lot there) for our new GP. We plan 5 months near there this winter.

We have also just added carbon filtered air purifiers to our rig so we'll see if that helps. In 10 days we'll be leaving the rig for a week, will see if that makes any difference either.

Regarding the suggestion to avoid dairy - we try to follow Paleo but do eat cheese. She is going to try to forgo cheese for a while too.

Thanks again.
