Safety

Just curious with all that is going on around the country has any one come across any problems while traveling? We are planning some trips later on this summer but my wife is a little concerned so we are reevaluating where we will be going. We are hoping most travel destinations are ok & as time goes by maybe things will simmer down, I hope.

We are traveling cross country and are trying to keep ourselves routed through rural areas and avoid population concentration areas where protests/riots are likely.
We are finding everywhere in all states a very patriotic population. Flags flying, bunting on houses, red-white-and blue, support the troops, police, 2020 graduates, and front line workers, outside dining tents, masks, no masks.
Support for victims of severe weather and other natural occurances.

We are NOT seeing evidence of divisions of class/race/political ideals, etc. EXCEPT on the news and Facebook.

Safe travels.

We are in our usual place in SW Montana for most of the summer . Small RV park on a river, not much socializing, mostly fishing We only needed to travel 300 miles ,and just one stop for fuel. No big deal for us. We will need to get groceries a few times, but no different then being home . IMO much safer here then at home.

Camping in California since January with a few trips home. Currently camping at 4000 feet on the way to Lake Tahoe then traveling to the California Delta to join up with our rv club for a long weekend next week. Then will park the rig for 2 months to go sailing then traveling again in September. Everyone is social distancing.

IMO no destinations are save, its up to you to protect yourself. Most younger age groups are treating this like nothing is going on, just listen to the news .

last 9 days, traveled from East Texas to Central Florida - all looks new normal. I10 Mississippi thru FL is extremely smooth and boringly straight.
