Exterior flood light

My outside exterior flood light bulb has burned out. Before I climb up there on a ladder can anyone tell me the correct bulb I need to replace the burned out bulb with?

It's an 1156 bulb in our scare lights. You don't indicate what model or year rig you have which makes questions easier to answer. The last time I replaced a bulb in ours, there was water inside so I had to straighten the gasket to keep it from leaking. You might also consider upgrading to an LED bulb, which are getting easier to find at RV dealers and online.

If the rest of your outside bulbs are incandescent, then I would guess the scare light will also be the standard 1156 bulb, which has the single center contact on the bottom of the bulb.
