New Member from East Texas

We are Shirley and David from North East Texas--Piney woods and rolling hills. We bought our 2955 RL in Panama City, Florida in May of 2002. My log indicates that we have traveled 24,209 miles with it since then and have spent 137 nights in it.

Thanks for this forum and for all the helpful and interesting posts.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you. The Piney woods area of Texas is one we want to explore one of these days. You are a whole lot more organized than I, with a log and everything! I really wish we'd kept a log of miles on our Montana. But we didn't. Thanks for telling us a little about yourselves.

padredw - as you can tell by my MOC name that I am from the Lone Star state too...in fact, East Texas like you guys...I am from Texarkana originally. Great area of the state....love the Lake of the Pines/Longview/Tyler area.

Yes, indeed, that would be RV Connections. Our salesman was Danny (originally from Marshall, Texas, just a half hour from here). Panama City has been on our books a long time. First stayed at St. Andrews State Park back in the early 1960s. Must say, it was a lot less crowded then! We quit going there for a while becaue it was beginning to be a hassle to get a good campsite. The last time we stayed there was the night before and after we bought the Montana.
