So you Think you got a problem

Poking around on another forum, seems Heartland has 139 units that the axles are in the wrong place. Got to move them 30.5" rearward. Heartland is picking up the units at the owners house, doing the repairs, and returning to the owners. If you are a fulltimmer, you get to move into a motel on your nickle.

And another thread about Forest River recalling up to 200 units that they forgot to install external vents for the furnaces!

Plus I think it's Forest River that is facing some stiff fines for moving very slowly or totally ignoring some of their recalls.

Yes, that is Forest River that didn't care much about recalls.

Glad the DW didn't like the interior but we'd have probably missed it by 2 months if she had.

Now let me get this straight they are going to add ballast to increase the hitch weight. What about those people that are at or near their max weight. Did they run this by their lawyers??? I bet not. Did they join the Id 10 T club. Read IDIOT.

Yes, on one floorplan there is a door in the way, so they can only move the axles back 15", they will add "ballast" to the pin box so you can haul around weight that is not usable.

I read all 14 pages. Unbelievable.

All manufactures have problems and not the greatest quality control. However we do not have any one of those brands we have a Keys
tone /Montana and other brands having problems does not make me feel better or justify the problems we have with our Keystone/Montana. I see a opportunity here for Keystone to step up their quality.
