Dropped the under belly?

Any one dropped the under belly of a 3295RK? Can you tell me what you did with the tire mount, gas lines and drain lines since they go through two pieces of the ABS? I looked at Rob's pics but with a middle kitchen it's not the same. There are more obstacles on the rear kitchen.

We are out there doing it right now with very little success and RC's patience is about gone.

thanks,
Samantha

Did you finally get the belly pan dropped? I've been wanting to drop ours to take a look around but it sure looks like a big job. Someone posted to buy some stainless self-threading screws to replace those you break taking them out. Looks like lots of things coming through the pan that would make it rather difficult.

I was hoping to talk to Dick at the rally to get some tips about doing this.

I dropped mine before the service advisory was performed. You have to loosen all the gas lines, grunt and groan a little, and it will come off. Good luck, it is not so easy.

I removed the rear panel of the under belly of our 3280RL and folded the artic insulation back towards the center in order to have a receiver hitch welded on the rear of our Monty. the tricky part was getting the panel cut to fit back in place around the hitch supports. Yes, I put the insulation back in place. Also did not break any screws and used sealer around the supports to keep the under belly sealed. Now I pull a small boat trailer behind us on our way to the south for the winter.

Good info Len Qea. I have been thinking about putting a receiver on our unit to carry a tray and box. I mounted the tray and box on the back of the truck instead and use it that way.

LEN QEA:
Just a question on doing this alteration. Does anyone know if Keystone will void the waranty on the unit if this is done? I have wanted to do the same thing, but have not, due to the fear that doing any alteration would void the waranty. Has anyone contacted Keystone to find out what their thoughts are on this?

Thanks for the info and appreciate all feedback.

I didn't contact Keystone on that question, nor check on it. I have had some warranty work done on the unit since but not by Keystone.
you may want to call them and check it out.

They will void the warranty because of the extra stress on the frame. You will probably get the same answer I did. (574) 535-2100
