Bob & I were married Feb 4, 1967. He only had 18 months left before his discharge & he thought he would not be sent anywhere I could not go! Well, April of 1967 he received orders for CCK base in Taiwan for 13 months to build quarters for wives & families and I could "not" go with him! What a way to begin married life!

So, I too have a soft spot in my heart for the women left behind "waiting"! Quite a lonely time. And I sincerely want to say THANK YOU to all who served and a grand WELCOME HOME!
