Indeed Blessed

In these difficult economic times we feel truly blessed. Les has always wanted a place of our own, a home base for our travels, if you will. Fortunately, my job has remained very stable and, after renting for the last 12 years, today we finally made an offer on a house. If all goes well, we should close by the 30th and for the first time in our married lives spend Christmas in our own home.
Just had to share.

Congratulations on your new home base. Throw a big house warming party.

While this has been a horrible time for sellers, it has been a great time for buyers, especially first time buyers like yourselves who don't have to worry about selling their old home. Congratulations on your new purchase! Now get ready for the 'joys' of home ownership - like fixing stuff!

Well, CONGRATULATIONS to you and Leslie! Enjoy Christmas in your own home--what a way to celebrate!

You are lucky to be on the buying end, as Tom S. said. Unfortunately, we are on the selling end, and as you know because you're in the area, things aren't selling quickly. I wish we could tell you that we would be celebrating Christmas in our Montana, but unless the last buyer makes an acceptable offer, we'll still be here on the back side of Clark Canyon Reservoir. (And if you and Leslie come by again on I-15, we will expect a visit since you know exactly where our house is.)

Again, congratulations.
