Good to Go for Five more Years

Got back from Juneau, Alaska last night. Got our drivers License renewed for another five years, Guess that means we are good to go for awhile. Never been to Juneau before and probably never will again. Rainy the whole time there, 4 cruise ships in harbor, very touristy, to say the least. Hotel was $23.00 from the airport. They sure are proud of their hotels there, actually not much to it especially having to pay $179.00/night. Had to stay two nights because of flights, they get you coming and going. Did take bus to DMV, which would have been another $23.00 taxi ride one way, three bucks for two on the bus.

On the bright side, we ate fish the whole time, halibut, salmon, red king crab, scallops, and shrimp. Probably won't have a good fish dinner for some time to come, least not Alaskan fish.

Oh well, It's always good to be back home........

Phil & Cathy.
