CG closed

The rlwhit CG is closed till ???. The management is getting the heck out of dodge, rounding them up and heading out, blowing this pop stand, moving on, you get the picture we are leaving this damp cold frosty climate for the wonder of beautiful sunshine. We were planing on leaving the 29th but guess what, snow is in the forcast mid week. We are going to try to hustle up and get on the road asap. See ya all where it is warm, windy and dusty.

Dick and Toni,

Sounds like a repeat of last year. Hope you can make it out in time. And rest assured that Camp HamRad will be open for you.

Have a safe journey and see you soon.

I must tell you that the nights are cold (29 last night), but the days are very pleasant (high 60's). The Hamrad Resort is a beautiful place to be.. even paved!! Have a safe trip.

Dick & Toni, I know what you mean. It is 28°s, cloudy & gloomy here.

Drive safe and have a nice warm & sunny trip.

Dick and Toni,
Have a safe and fun trip. You are welcome to stop by Ephrata but I think you will be going South and not East.

Wishing you and early Christmas and sorry we will not be able to see you over the holidays.

Dick and Toni,

Glad to see you made it out. Too bad about getting rained on but looks like that is what you're in for all the way down to Doug's. Weather map shows rain all along the coast as far south as just north of Doug. Hopefully it will just be a shower or two and you'll get lots of sunshine in between.

Travel safely and see you soon.

Update - Dec. 2 we were in Florence, Or. The RV park manager told me a heck of a storm was coming in. Boy was he right. That night the thunder, hail, rain, and wind did not allow for good sleep. Next AM the wind had slowed somewhat so we headed for Brookings. Bad idea. After 100 miles in 3 hours due to heavey rain and high winds found a RV park in Port Orford, Or. Two days later we were able to move on. When winds hit your rig at over 100 mph you know you are in for a beating. Had to close all slideouts. There was one gust that tilted the large slide in about an inch and it made lots of noise going back in place. That is when it was brought in. Stayed hook up to the TV. We have the armstrong stabs and it felt like they were not there. Had a pleasent night in the redwoods, 2 nights at the DHenry resort and now at the HamRad resort. Today is on to the desert. Will have a great soak in the hot springs at Fountain of Youth this evening.

Dick & Toni,

Looking forward to seeing how that "Fountain of Youth" worked.

Don't drink all the wine before we get there!
