We also tried several times, but in the end, we found that it took up to many square inches. As a fulltimer, we cherish every single inch of living space, and that thing just had to go.
Same here, one of first "mods" was to trash the lazy susan.

Ours from our old Monty went in the dumpster. The new Monty didn't have one and therefore saved me another trip to the dumpster.

I put all of my canned goods on the bottom shelf and the top shelf gets spices and such. I lose a couple of cans off the side while going down the road but not much. I LOVE the shelf system you guys put in but my unit is the travel trailer and my cabinet is not as tall or I would do the same.

In roughly 80k miles with a lazy susan we never had more than one or two things fall off, total. We put heavy things on the bottom with heaviest toward the inside.

However, when we got this current Montana we decided to trash the lazy susan.

I am not sure about the current lazy susan but on the older ones a lot of people didn't realize the shelf height is adjustable by lifting the shelf, pulling the pin, putting the pin into a different hole. I'm not sure the new ones are built the same way.
