I found out about MOC from a friendly couple in Ga Signed up but have not had much of a chance to get on the site. Have already learned about the gasket problem on the fantastic fan and now have received the kit from Keystone. We are looking forward to future trips. Just got back from 5 months in Fl.

Welcome, Silvermontana, we are new to this site as well and learn something new every time we get on it. Just like when I read your post about the Fan. I didn't know there was a problem but will go to the archives and look up the thread on it. We are currently having our new Montana 3075 RL built so I want the dealer to deal with any known problems right away.

Well a search on this site didn't come up with any information about the Fantastic Fan. Can you expain the problem? Is it something covered by the Fan warranty?

Now you see how great this forum is. Your first post and already you are helping a fellow member.
gojodo, the prblem with the Fantastic vent dealt with a sticking gasket. When the cover was closed for a period of time it would stick and the cover would not open. This was a problem on earlier vents and should not be a problem with the new rigs. If it is a problem a new gasket can be ordered from Fantastic Vent free of charge.

Glenn, Thanks for the link. Our kitchen fan seemed to be sticking but when we tried a second time all was ok. Have put the link in our favorties just in case. Silvermontana, Welcome to the MOC forum.
