Excited in Missouri

Last week we received word that our 2017 Montana High Country 370BR rolled off the production line. In less than a week we had it parked in the driveway packing for our first trip. This is our first fifth wheel after the typical progression; tent, hybrid, and our latest a 3220BH Passport(over the course of 12 years).

The only issue so far is the 6 point auto-level which the dealer assures me that they will make it right. Other than that, it tows like a dream and we wish we would have made the transition sooner.

Congrats! And yes, the level up is wonderful so hopefully it is resolved quickly. When we were looking for our 5th wheel last year, once I saw the system, that was a mandatory item it had to have.

The Auto Level errors out during the auto-level process. It worked during the PDI but when we got it home the first time, near the end of the process before the middle jacks stabilize, it displays an error. Sometimes it shows LF error, at times a RM error and even a RR error a few times. We were able to clear the error out with manually extending all 6 jacks and retracting. But still the same error stops the auto-level process near the end.

Make sure the nose of the trailers is higher than the rear before hitting auto level. The nose has to dip as part of the auto level procedure and if it starts out to low could cause an error

You didn't mention how much of an incline your driveway has. My driveway was too "steep" for the levelers to work properly. They would "error" during the leveling cycle.

Driveway has a slight grade but it also faults to an error on flat ground at the dealer. I think it is about a 5% grade as with my previous travel trailer, it was level side to side with being on 2 by 10 and a 1 by on top of that. Hopefully that isn't too far off to cause it to error each time.

If your leveler system is LCI, you should have a dvd in your new paperwork. The dvd will explain how to reset "zero". If that doesn't work you probably have a bad sensor. Under warranty, dealer fix.
