Montana 3500RL
Has anyone purchased a new 3500RL yet? I saw one today at a rv show in Jackson, MS. I had a hard time leaving. I want one bad. It listed for $61,000 but looked pretty loaded. It even had a king size bed. The dealer told me this was standard now on the 3500. I will meet with them next week to talk trade. I new I should have stayed home!

I just saw one at a RV show in Plesanton, CA. They had a show price on it for $55,000 but would negotiate that price if I wanted to place an order then. I really like that unit. Good luck with your negotations, let us know how it went.

We saw one at the Tampa show and another at our dealer in Kansas City. Absolutely gorgeous.

I was going to the show in Houston scheduled in February, but now I don't know. I sure don't need to get infected with the "wanna bug".

We just went to the RV Show at the Dulles Expo Center, Chantilly, VA. As we are brand-new Montana owners (October 1st), we just went to have fun and see what's out there. We didn't see anything that compared to the open space we have in our 3670. We did see a 3500, and it is a really nice rig. On another thread, there was discussion of high prices and less than well-built rigs. Agreed! Another validation to all of us smart Monty owners!

Is there a floor plan on line somewhere?

Just a note, I think the king size bed is now standard on all Montanas. We ordered our 2980 in October at the Pomona RV Show and the display rig had a queen size bed. We saw other brands with kings and Shari was seriously considering them because of that, but we liked everything else about Montanas so we said the queen was big enough. SURPRISE! It got delivered in December with a (odd sized, 72x80) king. Now if I can just get it back from the dealer . . . .

I'm real confused about which bed is standard nowadays. At the Tampa show we saw a model or two with the king bed and one with the queen. The one with the queen had enough room for a king so maybe it's optional on that model or on all???

The dealer told me a king bed was standard now on the 3500 model. I'm not sure if it applies to all models. But I got a price sheet on placing a order for a new one and it still shows the kig bed a $300 option. At this point it will take a lot more research before I buy.

I'm looking forward to seeing these new babies at the upcoming RV shows. I wonder with the King Size Bed is there still space between the bed and the back walls of the slide out, or is it tight like it is in our 2003 model?

Folks, Glenda and I ordered a 3475 2 weeks ago and I have a copy of the option list. The King bed is an option on all floorplans. I believe it's about $300 but I don't know for sure since we prefer the queen bed. Glenda finds it easier to walk around the queen by the front closet both for getting into bed but more for making it up.
Our dealer has a 3500 coming in this week and has reserved the right with Keystone to replace our order with a 3500 if we like it better than the 3475. Having been in the 3475 and seen many photos of the 3500 I doubt we will change our minds. Both are beautiful units but each has its virtues.
