A great night in Fillmore Ut.

We got to Nephi Utah today and found the only CG there to be a pit. Almost full and all remaining sites less than 30 ft long and no staff anywhere near. So we rolled another 50 miles to Fillmore and found a great little CG called Wagons West RV Park. It is on Main St in downtown Fillmore. New Wifi and FHU and cable for 32 with military/AAA/Good Sam discount. Clean and very friendly, we will be back here again on our way north. The diesel fuel at the "in between" stations is 30 to 50 cents more per gallon than the "in town" stations. If you plan on getting fuel anywhere between North Platte Nebraska and Fillmore Utah buy it at the stations in the bigger towns. And watch out for the second Flying J station in Rock Springs, it is tight and some brain damaged moron laid out the RV filling pumps. Jack knife right then left to even get into the pumps, then very hard left turn and drive past the entire facility in order to get out of the lot. Then a hard left turn around the far pumps but not if anybody is fueling at them. When they leave you have another tight left turn followed by a 180 degree turn out the drive back onto the highway. It is easier and cheaper to fuel at the FJ on the east end of Rock Springs. Also beware of the 2 stations between Laramie and Rock springs. The one closest to Laramie was 35 cents higher than in Laramie. The second one which is just 10 miles from Rock Springs was 55 cents higher. Other than that the trip has been awesome and the scenery has been incredible... We should be in Vegas on Thursday..

Glad the trip is going well for you! I've always wondered who designs some of these truck stop RV lanes. Tried to fuel at a Love's on I-10 and had to have Joyce flag for me so I could back out of the pumps. No way to go forward with others fueling and the size of our rig.

Stay safe Buddy, thanks for the report. I like the RV fuel stations at the ones we have been at, a little tight.

When they did the highway just south of St George the put in a round-a-bout getting to Flying J and you have fuel up in the truck lane. Going south I don't use it anymore as it is such a hassle with all the traffic. Going North it isn't to bad just the normal off and on. Would be nice to see diesel go back under $4.00.

We have all but given up on stations with special RV fueling areas and just head straight for the truck fueling pumps. It does make one of us go into the office and prepay, but by the time we stop for fuel, a little exercise is welcome. Same cost as the other pumps, but a lot easier getting in and out.
