Realistic/safe high pressure/temp limits for TPMS
Has anyone seen realistic pressure/temp limits to set a TPMS. I followed directions for ours and set the highs at 100 lbs and 110*[I think}. We got an over pressure alarm once coming down to S Tx and the temp went to 106* on a different tire. The outside temps were about 85-90. The tires were inflated cold to 80lbs and ran mostly about 94-98lbs/75-97*.

At what ambient temp was the pressure set? Tires gain about 1 lb for each 10 degree rise in air temp, plus if they are in the sun, they will gain even more. When my tires are set to 80 psi at about 70 degrees ambient air temps, I'll see 92 (+/- a degree) at 60 to 65 mph on the expressway when the ambient air temp is still around 70. If that one tire was in the sun and the weight on it is more than the other tires, it could explain some of the difference. Just because our trailers have 4 tires doesn't mean they all carry the same amount of weight.

On my G614's I run them at 105# so I set the high limit at 126#, low limit at 94# (that's 20% over and 10% under) and temperature at 154 degrees. Over 160 will begin to damage heavy duty tires.

I had a Infra-red temp on mine of 134 degrees from Gallup N.M. to Flagstaff (in the Sun side)

Pressure looks right from want I have seen. Someone else on the MOC said they use Celsius for temp, so pressure and temp don't get confused. Sounded good to me, so that what I do. I run between 30-34C on temp.

Thanks y'all.
I don't think 34C will work as that's only 93*F and I went up to 100*+ for awhile [one tire] and was consistently at 94-97*F. 
I still haven't found anything definite via google other than indications the normal operating temps can probably be above 120-130*F, maybe more. Nothing yet on safe pressure above the max written on the tire.

TST, in the owners manual for my 507 system recommends that the tire high temp alarm remain at the factory preset of 157F (69C) saying that tires typically fail between 180-200F.
I have mine set in the low 140's Don't remember exactly what the number is. I've seen the high 120's in the Desert. I've not had my alarm go off set where it is.

Sorry, wasn't awake last night, drove too many miles on little sleep. I have mine set at 64C meant to say 63-64C.
