IT'S ON THE WAY!!!

We ordered the new Dodge 3500 Laramie, CC, 4x4, SWB, Auto, 4:10, Cummins 800 TD and a lot of extras on 29 March and have been following the progress ever since. Things still take a long time, but after 8 weeks it was finally starting the build process. After checking today, I found out it is complete and is scheduled to ship via rail on 30 May and arrive here in Washington 9-10 June. We can't wait to get it and get it set up to haul the rig around. Pictures to follow!!!

Jack

Except, maybe, a new trailer. Congrats, and enjoy!

You're gonna love it. We just took our first short trip with the new truck last week and I couldn't believe how much better it pulled than my 05 Dodge 3500. I hear that you can't use that 800ftlbs until you're in the upper gears, should make a sweet pull up the mountains.

I can't wait to get it and see how it hauls the rig around

Jack,
How long before you get the truck? It won't be in time for the Rally will it? Those 3500s are great rigs. You're gonna love it. And I'm with Ray..... Send me a bottle of that new truck smell! On second thought just bring me the truck! See you soon. Dennis

Dennis,
We should have the truck around the middle of this month if all goes well. Unfortunately, we will not make the rally.....not only because of not having a truck, but that 4 letter word, work, got in the way this year. I guess the next time we will see you and Mary Kay will be at Quartzsite??? I will be making a post shortly after the 7-Feathers rally to lay out all of the details or at least most of them. Enjoy the group!!!

Jack

We are going to miss you guys at the 7 Feathers rally this week. The Zieglers are already here and the Wares will be here tomorrow morning; we are adjacent to one another. Lots of other MOC members are also here now; this place is just too pretty to limit the stay to one week, I think!

It won't be long before your new truck arrives. Too bad it didn't arrive earlier so that you could come show it off at the rally.

See you down the road (Quartzsite, maybe). I'd planned to retire last month but decided to put in one more year since it took so long to sell our home and we lost so much equity in the process. But even if I work, I have enough leave to be gone a bit. I'm just not sure how my boss would feel about my being out of the classroom for 2 weeks, which is what I'd need for a trip from Montana to Arizona.
