Trailer Styles
Can anyone explain the basic differences between the Mountaineer, Montana, and the Big Sky? They all look about the same.

In my opinion, the only difference is the "fit and finish". They are all made by the same company and use pretty much the same materials to build each one.

I think in looking at the trailers when we bought ours the big sky has more little thing's that are standard on them whereas the montana is just as nice. If you look at a brochure I think you can tell from there.

You can only get a Travel Trailer from the Mountaineer line, so they're kinda special

You can get 5vers in the Mountaineer line. I think the higher end of the models is the Big Sky with more expensive carpet and upholtstry and more bells and whistles. I think that the Big Sky is top of the line with Montana, Mountaineer and so pn down the line. But as far as the workmanship it is the same in all of them.

Big Sky has a little more flash and eye appeal. Not sure if it worth the extra $$. Others may have different opinion.

A few years ago Mountaineers were the Montana travel trailers (no 5ers), then they built a new factory just for the Mountaineer TTs. Then they came out with the 5ers. In addition to any differences, I think the 5er Mountaineers also indicate where they are fabricated.
