River Traffic????

Setting here over looking the Tennessee River, its a awesome VIEW. However it looks as if the high fuel prices are really hurting the holiday weekend. Only about 1/3 or less traffic, jet ski's, boats etc. yesterday and this morning there is not a single boad out. So Sad everyone works very hard here and being the last Holiday of the summer very few are on the river.. GBY......

Had a trip out toward the lake shore area Friday along I 90W in Ohio. Should have seen a road clogged with Campers and Boats..saw very light traffic.We are home..there are many local events.

Ditto in Sacramento. We decided to check out the State Fair and got a site @ the Cal Expo RV park, normally it's booked way in advance. The fair was packed yesterday as the weather was fantastic. There were several smaller rv spaces available and a few larger ones....like everyone said, a sign of the times.
BTW, this is our 1st trip to the state fair...a wonderful experience...we could have spent much more time to see it all.
