This is the 3rd post on this. The other YouTube site was closed down due to the Bank of Texas shutting it down claiming copyright. Apparently they are having a hard time getting to all the copies?

I've seen it, but don't mind seeing it again....it's a great reminder about knowing what you are doing while towing and being aware of your surroundings.....

Thanks toolmanroy for sharing.

Ouch! it looked like the building hit the cab of the truck, was anyone hurt?
By the way, I have not seen it, or heard of it, guess I don't get out too much....
Thanks for posting it Roy.

This guy actually appeared on Good Morning America the other day. He was not hurt, but admitted he probably will not take a unit thru a bank drive thru again!

I got the feeling that it was a rather new unit from the reports.

This incident happened at a bank in the town of Center, Texas, not far from our home here in East Texas What is interesting to me is that I received an email with the video attached from a friend in Australia--the first time I had seen it. The driver has appeared on our local television station in Tyler, Texas a couple of times. His ten year old son was in the passenger seat. They both got out without a scratch.

Another interesting fact: he was coming to the bank to sign the papers for a loan on the new RV he had just bought. He was not trying to go under the canopy, but around it. Evidently, he did not have much experience towing a fifth-wheel and did not allow enough space to clear the canopy. He said several times, "I just felt stupid!" He really seems like a nice fellow and expresses gratitude that he and his son were unhurt.

The pickup was totaled, but the RV can be repaired.

I'm sure he would be just as happy if he had not acquired world wide fame.

Thanks for posting it!!

Margee.
