I have to take my unit out today. While I am out I am going to make a 90 degree set-up and measure the distance between the cab and the front cap. Then measure how far my hitch slid back and see if I did not have a slider would it hit. I am going to do different angles and use the one that is the worst.

Brad, keep your slider I was right, without a slider my unit would hit in a hard turn. I would not have a problem up to about 60 degree. However as you can see in the pictures I would hit in a hard turn. In the picture I am at about 80 degree. You will also note that if I could have held the ruler at the very front I would have been even closer. The slider has moved back 13 inches so you can see if it had not moved back what would happen. A lot of this will depend on where the dealer mounts the hitch. My king pin sits directly over the axel. Therefore I suggest everyone test their unit to be sure.

Dennis,
Thank you for posting your pictures. You can't argue with the facts, especially when they are on film. I am glad I have my Superglide, worth every penny...
