sanitize fresh water tank

We have a 2016 3790 Montana that the fresh water tank is filled via a valve at the city water hook-up. How does one go about introducing sanitizing materials to the tank when it is filled only by this valve. we mostly just use the water as supplied by the parks but do not want to let the fresh water tank go unchecked
