Tank sensors

Hi does anyone have a good solution to a black tank sensor show two lights out of three when it's empty? The sensor solution seems useless.

There could literally be crap and paper on the censor. May just need to clean the tank a few times. Fill and drain.

You will never get the oem sensors to work correctly. Gray tank sensors are not much better. With time you will learn to gauge the level of the tanks based on your usage. A sure sign for black tank is if the stool burps when you flush it, it is getting full and needs to be dumped.

On our old rig I put outside the tank sensors on and they worked great. The problem was that by that time I was used to figuring it out on my own so I almost never used them. As a result, on the new rig I didn't add them.

The sensors are for the most part worthless. There are some things that you can do to make them better. With an empty tank, add 5 gallons of water a bag of ice, some dawn dish soap. drive to somewhere to dump and they should read correct, but not for long. It is best to just figure out how many days you can go between dumps and stick a schedule.
