Batteries?

2017 3730FL came with one battery from the dealer. I’m thinking there should have been 2 batteries. I’m not able to use the self leveling system without being connected to electrical power.

I’m wondering if I need to add an additional battery.

Recommend 2 batteries. Buy 2 new vice adding one to a two year old battery. Go with 27s or larger.

You can pull your battery and get it checked prior to making a decision.

Sound like the battery that came with your 5er is no good! I would get 2 new battery's.
Like AZ Traveler said go with group 27's or larger. I did (4) 6 volt battery's from the get go. And never have any problems.

I use one good agm battery. But then I don't boondock. If needed the Honda 2000 keeps things alive.

One battery should be enough if it's a good one and fully charged. If it's been damaged by low water levels or if it's been stored and not actually disconnected (the battery disconnect will still drain your battery) then it needs to be replaced. ATM batteries will solve the water issue, but not the battery disconnect not disconnecting everything.

Dealers are notorious for killing batteries while in service. since you have an RV refer, you should be fine with one. On our MHC with a res refer we had one battery and it was fine. 2 will be better.
