marabombs my turn too

We just had our first close encounter with a marebomb too last week. A football shaped extrusion of rubber pushed out the inside sidewall. Luckily, it didn't blow out and cause damage. We kept being told by passers by that there was a problem with the tire. I got out and looked several times and checked the pressure and all was good. we never realized the damage was there cause it was on the inside and barely visable and drove about 45 minutes more in that condition. Lesson learned---check both sides of the tire!!
