Bugs removal
While snow birding down here in Fl.I realized this is where the bugs go in the winter also. While cleaning the Monty I was using the Bounce sheets and for the real stubborn ones I tried those Mr. Clean eraser pads,(the white sponge things) and they work great.I'm now using those thing for everything.

Simple Green works very well. Spray on full strength let it sit for a few minutes then rinse off, it is bio-degradable

Is the Mr. Clean eraser pad abrasive? I'd be fearful of taking the clear/gel coat off.

I am a believer in the Bounce sheets. Have worked wonders for me even back when I had a Class A in removing bugs. Also the bounce sheets are good for removing soap scum off your shower door and other glass enclosures.

Does Simple Green remove wax? Like a degreaser?
I have a scrub pad with a fluid reservoir I picked up somewhere. It fits in the palm of my hand. Push on it and it dispenses the soap from the reservoir, through the pad. This is what I use on those real stubborn bugs. It does require climbing a ladder to get way up high, however.

I haven't tried the Bounce sheets, but I have found that Black Streak Remover works great on not only the black streaks on the Monty, but also on the bugs on the front cap.

Dave and Betsy, good idea on the Swiffer mops, will have to give that a try. I think I have one gathering dust in the garage.

I was introduced to the ICE wax by Turtle Wax this winter. I use that in liquid form with the bounce sheets and it removes the bugs and waxes at the same time. The Ice has both liquid and past wax and then a spray detailer for light cleaning and wax. Ice does not cause the "white film" and can be used in direct sunlight. It is not cheap.
Cheers,

Bounce works well for me. Washed the TV after a mud rain and used 3 sheets of bounce. Fast and easy. Wipe on, wipe off, wipe on, wipe off. I'm feeling stronger already.

Now there is a line of thinking I can get behind...way to multitask!
I just picked up one of those Black & Decker cordless scrubbers. It has two additional extensions that will let me get all the way up on the rv. Can't wait to try it.

PLEASE try PURPLE POWER. Check it out at www.clean-rite.com. I have used it for 30+ years. You will not go back to bounce. It will not hurt your Monty and works 10 times faster than bounce without the elbow greese. What bounce can do in an hour this stuff will do in 10 min. It is also one of the best wheel and tire cleaners you will ever use. try it

You need to remove the . at the end - then it opens.
I was wondering which product you used on your Monty?

I read just a little on that site and it states that there is a cherry scented ingredient. It is not wise to use any citric flavored cleaner as it attracts birds and they can peck a hole in your roof looking for the fruit.
Question: The PurplePower you have, is it scented?

I have a product that is better than any of the ones you guys have listed. Works well, just point in the direction of the required cleaning and say go to it. Then sit in your lawn chair; get a cool drink and watch. You can sit in the shade if you like. It's called w.i.f.e., a bit costly but very effective.
PS, I would also like to solicit a contribution to my hospital fund for after she reads this.

The Mr. Clean pads do pull off the wax. We had to use it on the Monty to get off the leaf stains from a RV park in Gatlinburg TN. The only thing that worked was straight Awesome and the pads. We had to go back and rewax after we got the stains off. I would be careful when using them, but they do work.
