Water pressure low fluch toilet water press higher
Funny issue with water pressure. Water pressure on sink, shower or bath sink runs very low with very low flow until the toilet is flushed and then the pressure blows and goes. So if you want to take a shower you first turn on the shower then go flush the toilet and release. Shower pressure is now good. Same with using either sink.
Has anyone else noticed this issue and is there a fix?

A couple of questions. Is this when you are on city water or using your pump? Do you have any sort of water filter in your line somewhere? Do you use a pressure regulator and if so what type and how old is it? If you are on park water does the faucet have a back flow preventer on it (couple inch wide brass thing screwed on the end of the hose outlet, usually with a little white plastic rod protruding from the middle)?

When on park or city water. It has a several year old Camco brass water pressure regulator on the faucet end of the supply hose. No backflow preventor. No filer.
I will swap to a hose without the pressure regulator and see it that makes any difference.

That kind does go bad fairly often. Also, if you do get to a place that has the back flow preventer having that kind on the end will cause low or no pressure because the screen at the input to the regulator hits the little plastic probe and messes up the back flow preventer to where it restricts or cuts the water all together.

Sort of sounds like something in the water line that obstucts water flow when the pressure builds up when water isn't being run in the trailer. Flushing the toilet would rapidly decrease line pressure and allow any foreign crap inside the line to allow water flow to work normally until the next time that no water is used and the water line pressure can yet again cause the obstruction. I would look at the backside of where your water connection is in the trailer to see if anything looks strange or to see if you can take the connection for water inlet off of the fitting to see if there is something in the line. Removed the pressure regulator and problem solved at least at home base site.
I will purchase a new regulator and try again.
Thanks for all the comments.
