Here in Washington it is obviously legal, however it seems to be frowned upon, since campsites are generally tight quarters and the smell lingers and can really bother some people. Our Adult kids smoke occasionally when home, however when they are camping with us we do not allow it for that very reason, However where it is legal the edibles are very popular and our kids will sometimes show up and bring pot peanut butter cups (Better then Reeses) and my wife and I will sometime partake and have some wacky candy.
Some campgrounds here in the NW where it is legal are making a point to publish in their rules to not smoke outside where you might bother others.

Just turn your FanTastic on exhaust and don't worry about it. However recently stayed at RV park that wouldn't allow any type of smoking anywere including inside your rig.

I would rather be in a camp ground with someone doing pot than someone drinking but I don’t understand how or why a CG would say someone couldn’t smoke in their camper. It’s still perfectly legal and you did rent the space. Your camper is your home while you are using it. This is not a camp ground I would say in and I have never smoked. I do believe in protecting our rights. Give up one and which is next?

Nope, never, ever in my life have I used POT. I'm too old now to start too. Never saw any reason to either. In my younger years, I got "high" on Sunday Morning in Church, watching folks getting "zapped" "in the Spirit", and a rush of euphoria overwhelming every molecule of existence. Back then, I think it was the real thing. Never had a need for POT as a result.

Yea, here's the agreement that you just must sign when registering. They emailed it to me. I blacked out the park name, no need to disclose, but if you make a reservation, you'll know.
They also won't allow any rig older than 12 years. Told them mine was an '08. They wanted to see my registration to verify, fortunately I had taken care of that with Photoshop before I left home. New owner of park actually came out to check the registration and license plate.
The owners of this park are way too proud and self righteous. Don't think they'll stay in business very long.
Like I said before, turn your FanTastic on exhaust and don't worry about it.

Every business owner, no matter the business, has the right to set their own rules. If that appeals to a certain clientele and they are successful, more power to them. Just as they have their rights, you have the right to go elsewhere. Don’t wish them to fail because you don’t like their policies.

I agree however owning an RV Park means you are in the hospitality business. They certainly aren't being "hospitable." I was in retail for 50 years. If you alienate your customers you won't have any.
Telling someone you can't smoke cigarettes in your own RV is a little much! I quit cigarettes 15 years ago, but I won't go to that park again because if the "fuss" they made about smoking and RV age.

We owned a customer service business for 30 yrs. What one person considers inhospitable, another sees no problem with it or even is glad for it. There are very few things that appeal to everyone.
I am also a former smoker having quit 45 yrs ago. So being told I can’t smoke in my own RV means nothing to me and I would have no problem staying there. But that’s just me. To each their own.

I am not sure why anyone would think smoking pot would not harm them. We just went through a huge lawsuit of tobacco companies who knew the dangers. Even without any science, a person should be able to reasonably conclude that inhaling anything other than air can be harmful.
Spare me the medical benefits excuse. If you go on any bourbon or whiskey tour you'll see the same arguments from the days of prohibition, that we now know are totally false. Even if true, you'd be trading one benefit for one detriment. Don't make sense to me...but honestly, I don't want to prohibit others from making their choices, but I do think they should be held responsible if those choices impact others negatively. That's Liberty folks!

I guess some folks just need to be told that smoking anything will likely be a nuisance to those nearby. Not much different making noise. There will be those that are considerate, and those that are not.

We prefer to stay in parks that do not allow wood fires so I guess smoking is not much different. I believe most of the legal pot is in edible form.

Pot an be a useful drug. I have a friend who had cancer drugs didn’t help with the pain, pot did. I also know a woman who had seizures. Nothing helped her. She tried CBD oil. She was having several seizures a week. Since she started the CBD oil she hasn’t had any seizures. It worked so well her husband started making CBD oil and now sells it. I always have sinus drainage. I take a 1/4 teaspoon every night and the drainage is gone within 15 minutes then returns by morning.
Anything can be abused. If used wisely CBD and pot are useful drugs. They will probably never be scientifically tested, no money in them for billion dollar test for big pharmaceutical companies.
