Pop-up electrical outlet problem

The pop-up or pedestal electrical outlet located as part of the dining table on my 3811MS has ceased to function. After studying the situation, I do not see a way to remove/replace/repair the unit without tearing the table loose from the wall. Has anybody else had this problem or know a way to remove the unit in a less dramatic and damaging method? I appreciate any tips.

Depending on the year, and if you have an outdoor TV there, it could be plugged in with the TV on the outside cabinet. I'd check that plug outlet first and any GFI that controls it before I started tearing things apart.

2018 is the year and I do have an outdoor TV. Great idea, thanks for responding.
