Converter Replacement
My Montana Fifth Wheel, 3455SA, appears to have lost the converter. Model number is Xantrex xadc8120. Appears this is discontinued as prices are $599 for similar from them. Seems ridiculous. Looking at a product from Progressive Dynamics, but cannot determine which one. They range from 30 amps up to 80 amps. So question is, how do you know what to put in? Thanks, trying to get ready for Holiday weekend but really struggling. Found it under the steps to bedroom, but getting to backside is going to be a pain!!!!

Give Progressive Dynamics a call, tell them what you have and they will know which one of their converters will work to replace your failed one. 269-781-4241

Are you sure you need a new converter? In your earlier post you stated there was 7.4V when charging manually. I assume this was an external battery charger. In any event 7.4V is indicative of a dead battery.
The other mention of a new battery cries out for an answer to the question "did you accidentally hook the battery up backwards (even if just for a second)? The reverse polarity fuses will blow almost instantly. The good news is the converter is fine and will work as soon as the fuses are replaced.
Check voltages from the converter to the battery looking for the point is goes wonky before you blow $$$ on a new, possibly unneeded, converter.

Open your fuse panel and look for the make/model number.
Example PD4575K18LS8
If so it's a Progressive Dynamics
And the converter is integrated into the fuse panel
https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Converte...575K18LS8.html
But it is modular and is easy to change if necessary
