We used to have a terrible smell coming from the grey tank. If you follow the main drain from the bathroom, there is a in line piece, about six inches long. I dont remember what it was called. Mine was right at the other side of the basement wall. almost right behind the convenience center. Although a friend of ours with a Montana, theres was about 15 feet away. It is used instead of a trap for the shower. There is a rubber sleeve inside and mine was turned inside out. If accessible, easely removable. Just clean it and stuff the sleeve back in . Our stink immediately went away. Hope this helps.

Black Tank

One thing you can do is add a big bag of ice the next time your hitting the road. This along with some good black tank cleaner deodorizer, (I use "Happy Campers Organice Holding tank Treatment") and swear by it, should fix your problem. You should flush your black tank every time after use to keep it from smelling.
