Furrion Camera

We bought our 2017 Legacy used and did not get the monitor that was provided by Keystone however the camera is installed on the rear. Anyone know a source for just the monitor or do we need to buy a complete system?
Thanks!

Just found out it is a vision 2 camera so we would need to purchase complete new system.

I have one I took off mine, went with the Vision S with the side cameras. The one that came with the trailer was not compatible. Its used and I have not had a chance to list it anywhere for sale, still sitting on my desk. If your interested shoot me a price im assuming you have looked into the cost already.

Thanks Tony! I assume you have either the either the vision 1 or vision 2? Not sure what they are worth as they are discontinued models. Our trailer has the camera already mounted but we do not have the monitor and Furrion told us the cameras are no longer available and are now obsolete so we would need a complete new system. The vision S system is about $400, not sure what a used vision 2 is worth, let us know how much you want for it as we may be interested.
Thanks!

on the furrion's; anyone have any luck with them actually working?

on my montana when towing with the hdt the furrion is very intermittent; i'd guess it works about 20% of the time; when towing with the pickup it works about 70% of the time

its constantly loosing signal and re-establishing connection

others having a different experience?

The new Observation line that I installed work fine. 7” monitor, marker light and rear view cameras. The older version I had was more subject to interference and the monitor was much smaller but it got 1/2 the job done.

We just bought a Furrion system with a 7" monitor. We used it for the first time to attend the Western Region Rally in Coos Bay. I had no issues with the monitor or camera. I did discover that the old Furrion camera that came with the rig no longer worked. I also discovered that the OEM camera wiring is hot all the time so the camera stays on (blue light on the camera)all the time and is not linked either to the side running light wiring or back up light wiring.

I was having the same issue so I contacted Furrion. The person I talked with said that the Bluetooth on my cell phone was probably interfering. I turned off the Bluetooth and it worked perfectly. I've only been on 1 trip since trying this so it could be a fluke but IMHO it's worth a try.

I did not have any interference from bluetooth. My rear view camera is also wired to the constant hot. No biggie for me I have enough battery to run that camera until the year 3199 . My marker light cams are wired to the running lights which I like.

We have the Furrion Vision S5 with 5" monitor. It's worked flawless right out of the box. Dealer installed the camera when we picked up the coach. Love it.

I installed the Furrion vision S cameras a couple of months ago and they work great. I didn't want to be dependent on the marker lights for power so I ran dedicated 12v power to all the cameras and installed an On/Off switch in my switch panel. I can use them as security cameras when I am camping and disconnected from my TV. I have the 7" display, the 2 side marker light cameras and the blade camera for the rear. I also bought and extra blade camera that I am going to install on the front cap so I will have a 360 deg view around my camper and campsite when camping. I can just look at my monitor to see what's going on outside my camper without having to get up.

I like your idea of putting an on/off in the camper. I have a Rear Marker Camera, of course it doesn't fit my F250 rear marker. Were have you guys been installing it and what wire do you power it with.

I noticed that my Furrion, without fail, would momentarily disconnect each time I used the brakes, then reconnect. I thought that was odd. Other than that, seems to work fine. I wonder if anybody else has the same issue.

Are you installing the rear marker camera on your F250 or on your camper?

I pefer to install it on the Truck. I was thinking of installing it just below the rear window.

Why do you need a camera in the bed of your truck?

We looked at a 2019 F250 that had both a tail gate camera and a rear bed camera. I'm guessing the rear bed camera for backing into a 5th wheel hitch?
I just look out the back window.

How did you run 12V power to each camera? Through the wiring harness?

Furrion back and side camera

We have a new 2020 3931fb and for some reason the back camera is not displaying on screen I believe it may be too far, is there an extender that can be bought?
