DC to DC charger install

I'm looking at getting a Renogy 60A DC to DC charger. I'm planning on using Anderson SB175 quick disconnect cable connections.
So far I haven't found any weatherproof flat (or flush) mounts I like or how/where to mount them in the truck bed and on the front wall of a 5er.
For anyone who has installed a DC to DC charger what did you use (cabling/connectors)?
Where did you mount them (truck/5th wheel RV)?

You may want to check out LoveYourRV on YouTube and Ray's site. He has wired his truck to use an engine-driven alternator and ran a heavy cable to the rear of his full sized box, with Andersen couplers. He has some excellent pictures and thoughts on the "right stuff" to use.

please check if your Alternator can pull the 60amp.

Ive installed a 40amp and I have 2 Alternators with totsl 440amp.
Caneling I used better Starter Cabels. 1 from engine bay into truck bed and 1 from Truck Bed / Hitch into the Camper.

We love it. You always arrive with full Batteries 😃
