Water Heater Switch

Big Sky 3580RL 2011, The toggle switch that turns the hot water heater on by electric does not work part of the time. You flip it and it may take 3 or 4 flips for the switch light to stay on. I have a new one to install but am not sure how to take the old one out of the panel. Do I have to take the panel off the wall and push the switch out or do you have to pry the switch out the front of the panel?

First pull the plug and turn off all power to the camper! On my 2005 model I used a screw driver to pry the switch out. I have I house hold type light switch in the camper so when mine went bad I pulled the toggle switch and cut the wires and used a wire nut to make the circuit back. The switch should come out pretty easy.

When I changed my switch on the 2005 2955RL it was easy. My switch was in the water heater compartment. I pried it out gently with a small screwdriver. Good luck.
