tire size

Anybody know if you would be able to replace the LT235/80/16's on the new '08's with an LT235/85/16, or would it be too high.

The 85's have 1/2" more diameter than the 80's. So that means that the rig will set 1/4" higher. That seems insignificant to me, so insignificant that I just put the 85's on my rig.

I'm surprised the tires on the 08 weren't 85's. When Keystone sent me replacement tires 2 years ago, they were 85's and not the 80's that were on our rig.
To answer the question, they will fit with no problem.

Boy that's good news. I just bought a set of XPS Ribs for our '03 with the idea of switching them if we decide to trade in the fall. Just noticed that for a few years now they've been running 80 series tires on the Monty's. Never paid attention to it before. It would have really burned me if I couldn't use them on a new one. Thanks for the info.
