Reminder about fan blades
In our sticks and bricks and at our restaurant you have to tighten the screws holding the ceiling fan blades in place about every six months and it's usually surprising how loose they are. In Monty's it can be way more often than that. I had them tight in Kansas and then when we reached the Service Center noticed that the slide pushed one out of the way when it closed. Yup, loose again.

A little locktite will solve that. Use the one you can break loose.

The blue locktight is the one to use and will allow replacement, if ever necessary. I understand the red stuff is more permanant.

Jim and Art are right on this one. Loc-Tite blue them and you won't need to keep tightening them later.

I agree. I did that and no loosening of the fan blades since. They should still be checked periodically since Murphy is alive & well!

LOL Parts Ed, isn't rolling S&B an oxymoron? If it rolls it better not be S&B, unless your S&B is Styrofoam and Batting (material).
Funny, I mentioned to make sure you use the blue stuff, but I don't, duh. I just check the tightness as part of my RV maintenance.

The screws on the light globe can also loosen. From a suggestion on the MOC, I put a rubberband around the globe and tightened the screws into it It puts added tension on the threads and they hold tight.

Did the Blue Loctite when the rig was new (3.5 years ago) and have not had a loose screw on the ceiling fan since......although there is a loose nut behind the steering wheel of the truck every now and then
