Gas Water heater does not light

All came home from travels and wanted to speed up getting getting hot water so I turned on the electric and propane. Flipped the propane switch and the DSI-FLT never lite and never came on. I believe the DIS-FLT is for the pilot light indicator. Any assistant on what would of caused it not to come on?

It can take a little bit for the propane to reach to water heater. The first couple times it tries to light might fail. Did you ignite the stove top? I usually do that after the propane has been off for a while since it can take a minute to reach the stove as well. Once I can light the stove I'll turn on the water heater. Even then it can take a couple tries.

Yes, I lite the stove. The issue is the propane not turning on. I am going to wait and see if it’s just not turning on b/c the water is at temp and the safety feature will not let turn back on b/c the water would exceed the allowed water temp

That would indicate that it has been running recently? Is your Water Heater switch on with a red light? Have you turned it off then back on again?

I know in the manual it says it will not light if the water temp is > 100°F.
Mine Worked fine in electric mode. Could not get gas to light.
Read that in the Manual. Ran the water until it was cold then tried it again. Worked fine in both modes gas and electric.

Just to clarify, the DSI-FLT LED only illuminates when the WH is trying to ignite the gas burner. The light goes out as soon as the burner is lit. If the water temperature is above ~100 degrees the heater will not try to ignite and there will be no illumination of the DSI-FlT LED.
