Window treatment fell off wall

Have others had issues with the window treatments falling off the windows. OUr large one in the dining slide out fell off. In trying to put it back up the treatment seems too heavy for the brackets they installed it on. I reinstalled the bracket and shade but am reluctant to put the wooden valance back up. It just sits on the top of the bracket with three screws holding it in place. The bracket only has nine screws holding it to the wall and they have to be short so as to not go through the outside wall. Anybody else had to deal with this?

Never have had one fall off, but when we installed MCD shades in the old rig I took every one down and reinstalled them without incident.
