Shady Rest CG near Beckley, WV
We overnighted last night at this CG. It's a low frills, low cost, CG, with a beautifully serene setting and an owner/manager (Steve) who is very easy going and trusting guy. The central modem is in his office and he'll leave it unlocked so you can use it 24x7 if you just let him know you'd like to use it late at night. Getting to the CG is not all that difficult but can be a little tricky since part of it is on a gravel, one lane road. No traffic to speak of and we had no problems. This is a very relaxing place to overnight or to use as a base for exploring and sightseeing.
