Baggage door
2020 Montana 3120 RL. I am having an issue with my front passenger baggage door. To me it looks like the hinge has broke which has allowed the door to sag, and not close properly. They are telling me that I need to replace the entire door ar a cost of $1000 US, plus installation. These hinges are not good. Is there a different hinge? Any ideas on how to fix this issue without replacing the entire door assembly? Has anyone else had this issue?
I have attached some pictures.

The middle pic definitely look like the hinge extrusion has bent/sprung a bit. If it was mine - I would take the door off and start experimenting to see if I could tap/ bend the extrusion back down onto the panel. Also maybe use some needle nose pliers to reshape the round hinge extrusion. Is there a way to add a countersunk screw to the end section to help hold the extrusion to the panel? In short - I don’t know exactly how that bend on the ends happens but I would experiment with several possible solutions before ordering a new door. Also - once the door is off, put a straight edge on the female extrusion to see if it is straight. I’m having trouble imagining what sequence of events happen to cause the extrusions to deform on both ends.
To take the door off - remove the screw in the middle pic and tap the plastic plug out…maybe stick a flat head screw driver in the channel up against the plug and tap it out. Keep the plug for reinstallation. The door will slide off once the plug is out.

I agree with Mikendebbie (above) as that would be your first line of defense against this problem. I'm a firm believer in attempting to fix things myself. If I can, I've saved some money. If I end up screwing it up even more, I've not lost anything either as now it's time to call in reinforcements. (and up the price).
Removing the door and attempting to reshape the hinge is exactly what I'd attempt first. Those doors do come off pretty easy. If you are not successful, then go to step 2. Order a new hinge (or door) and replace it yourself. It's not difficult at all to replace or fix one. It just takes a little patience. And I agree, $1000 is absolutely insane!

I had the same thing happen. I tried a couple of ways to fix it but no dice. You need to order not just the door but the frame as well, it's how they come. If you are handy it's not that difficult but if not handy pay a dealer to do the job.

Left my tailgate down two years ago, pulled out of a campground and first turn, destroyed both front storage doors. The large one was $325, the small one (battery access) was $195 ordered through the Dealer after very careful measuring.

I had a somewhat same problem on our 2019. Grandson sprung the baggage door hinge.
I tried taking it off a reshaping the hinge. I was able to improve it but I had to still lift the door to close it.
Some folks have replaced the hinge with a piano hinge.
The only true fix is a new door and frame.
At the national rally this past fall the techs replaced my door no charge, good as new Was worth the drive to Goshen.
