#401 from Cobbledick Road to Chateauguay

Kathy and I have wondered, "Where are all the Montanas (Montanae in Latin)"? Last Wednesday, the 13th of August, we saw FIVE Montanas. We were headed east. There was a nice rig headed west at Cobbledick Road (east of Toronto). At a Tim Horton's near Brighton we encountered a couple taking their grandson and his parents to Halifax (five of them in the Crew Cab). We encountered a couple from Quebec (straining my French and their English) in a 2008 3400RL at the flying J in Napanee. They had also built a bike hitch receiver, much like ours! We left MOC cards with both. The others were wave-by's along the way to Chateauguay, QC (on the south shore of the St. Lawrence at Montreal).

Good question KathyandDave... Last year we traveled in several of your beautiful Provinces all the way to Newfoundland and saw many, many Montana's but actually only met up with one MOC'er and that was in Newfoundland. We did meet amother one when we got back to Bar Harbor (Pete Hanson) but Canadian Moc'ers need to tell more people about our awesome site.

Actually, when I come to think of it, you would have "passed" us. We were on a site in Darlington Provincial Park that day. We had previously been in Algonquin where we saw three Montanae, (One of whom was an MOC member).

I always introduce myself and query other Montana owners regarding the MOC...have not yet met one(maybe they have seen my postings??...)..I leave my card with the MOC membership# and website on it..cannot say if any have ever signed up though...First impressions are not always the best impressions...
