Finally have all the parts and supplies, have the first one apart and found that my rear leaf spring hanger was missing all the connection hardware, waiting for the parts to arrive, will finish up the wheel bearing repack while I wait. Started a seperate post in the leaf spring issue.

Wheel bearings lead to brake back plate replacements and missing leaf spring wet bolt that lead to axle alingment. but got it all done and we are back on the road in Apache Junction, with things working very well.

Inspecting and making sure there are no brake issues is the bigger reason for pulling the drums and then repacking the bearings and installing new seals. Much of the time, you will get no sense that there is a problem. This was what I found several years ago, prior to upgrading to discs. The adjuster screw assembly and a couple other parts were totally ground to dust.
