Window screens (update)
How do you get the screens out to clean the windows . The one over the counter on the 2955. I don't want to break it.
Finally got it out. I do not know if it was put in properly the last time.

Mine are spring loaded on the bottom. If your's are the same, carefully push down on the lower frame until the upper frame is clear and then pull it toward you.

Don: it has been a while since my 2955RL but I took that screen out a number of times to clean the Q dirt off. I don't remember if the springs are on top (most likely) or bottom, but they are there. Push up on the frame at the top (or down at the bottom) and there will be movement. That screen does come out!

Like Charlie and Nila, I find it easier to wipe both sides with a microfiber cloth instead of removing and cleaning them. I did a comparison of one I'd taken out and washed with one I microfiber-cleaned and could see no difference. I did use a toothbrush to clean the bottom and top of the screen frame.

The rest are most likely right I just took some of my small ones out so the cats can look out and not tear them up. The springs were probably on the top when they were in.

How do you open the small windows with the tabs at the top. I can't get my small windows to budge open. Screens are no problem.

Squeeze the tabs together (difficult) and push up on the window. I have found sometimes the tabs sort of break - the spring that pushes them out gets messed up and I have to get a screw driver out and push them back in place. Pushing the window up is kind of hard sometimes even when it is all working!
