Just a thought here. If you switch off the Air Conditioner breaker I suspect the furnace will still work and the air can't start.
If it doesn't.... how can the furnace run on 12 volts when boondocking???
That should stop the AC and the heat from fighting each other.
I've since found out the thing tries to use the AC as a dehumidifier... heat and air at the same time seems to be a normal operating condition..... as insane as that may be....and it prefers the AC heat strip to the furnace regardless of the cost of power vs. propane... just another unfriendly gadget from Keystone I guess.
