2017 Rally MORryde tour as of 8/29

Join us for the MORryde factory tours on Friday 9-22-2017:

Don't miss out on this great tour and FREE lunch - SIGN UP TODAY!

MORryde will provide tours of their facility starting at 10:30am

MOC members will have to drive to MORryde’s facility*, but they will move people between the different areas.

MOC members will be grouped into tour groups of 15-20 people with each tour starting in a different area of MORryde’s facility at 10:30am and finishing close to noon.

MORryde will provide lunch in their conference room immediately following the tours.

Please note the following:

No open toe shoes allowed.

Please let us know if you have a pacemaker so your tour can be adjusted to avoid areas of the factory that might affect the pacemaker.

Please reply to this post if interested in attending so we can get a head count for lunch.

*It would be good to carpool(truck-pool)to this event. If you are willing to drive, please indicate so on your reply post.

Update 8/29

Go to "MORryde Tour change" thread for full details and to pick your choice

Due to the great response and larger group this year MORryde is offering another tour option and has asked that we split the group between the two options with a maximum of 120 at either of the tours.

The 1st option is the “original tour” at the “Service, Fab, Assembly & Shipping” plant located at 1966 Sterling Ave., Elkhart IN.

On this tour you will see many of the MORryde products installed on the Montana’s and available in the aftermarket being fabricated, assembled and readied for shipping. A lunch is provided on site after the tour.

The 2nd option is a tour at the “Chassis Modifications” plant located at 3701 Cooper Street, Elkhart, IN

This tour is extremely interesting even if it doesn’t deal with trailers, it covers Class B’s, Class A’s, and Diesel Pushers. The tour includes the same fab equipment that is at the Sterling location, it just puts out different parts. It’s interesting to watch them cut the frames in half and extend the wheel bases. You will also see frame work for floors, and basement compartments being installed. There are 4 different buildings for this tour which also includes lunch.

All 1st timers (newbies) will automatically be put in the original tour unless they opt out and ask to go to the “Chassis Modification” Tour.

Anyone who has participated in the tours the past 2 years is encouraged to go to the Chassis Modification Tour

92 units of 103 signed up

178 total people

RED means Tour 1=Sterling Ave. plant (original) currently 119 signed up
Blue means Tour 2=Cooper St. plant (Chassis modification) currently 59 signed up
Black means response to either Tour 1 or Tour 2.
