New G 614s
Picked up my new 3750# 16 inch rims this morning, took them to the tire shop and first thing in the morning they will put the new rims and tires on the rig. Already have that feeling of added security knowing the China Marathons are going to be off the rig.

It is a pleasant change to look ahead at the scenery instead of checking the side mirrors constantly!

Joyce and I swear the 614's give us a smoother ride. Could be mental, but so what. Hope they give you great service.

While we do not have the G614's, we nevertheless replaced the rims on our first rig, a 2006 3400RL, with ALCOA aluminum rims (BTW, the G614's were not available then, at least in our market area). While costly, we decided that it was worth the money since we had rims that could support 3500 pounds (our axles are rated at 7,000 pounds) at 110 psi and we could mount G-rated tires on them.
Now that we have a TST monitoring system for our tires we are very happy. We feel we have a good combination of technology and wheel/tire pairing.

I agree with Bingo. I'm not constantly looking in the mirror for flying tire and trailer pieces any more.

Still have the question in with the dealer as to whether Keystone will let us upgrade to the G614's at the factory level when ordering the trailer. I thought I had heard they might allow this now, and will keep everyone posted.

Getting my g614's installed next week with the TST system added. I will feel much better with this setup. I am, however, not putting new rims on. I have checked with both Keystond and TREDITTIRE and both have indicated my rims will support the new G614's.
Ps. They are not cheap this year at $333 each and $29.00 to mount and balance.

They are on! Had them install the steel valve stems I got with my HawksHead TPMS on the new steel rims. The rims aren't fancy aluminum Tredits and they don't allow the center cap to be mounted, but it gets the job done and they are out of site with wheel covers anyway. Kind of amazing when you read the posts and note that my OEM rims are only good for 3500# or under tire pressure and yet older rigs of the same type or series came with the 3750# rims. Guess it was all up to whomever was working the tire line that day.

Next week I replace my 7 year old G614's. It has been a great tire, rarely did I ever have to add air they hold 110psi with no problems. By the way regarding the ride, it is not your imagination, this tire has a very stiff sidewall that helps keep the trailer going straight down the road with minimal sway.
Thanks
