Ford increased both when Chevy came out with their new D'max with 397 HP and 767?? TK. Ford couldn't allow Chevy's old Dmax to have more power than their new PSD, I mean they only had 390 HP. Its a war
a horse power war. I think it's about over until 2012 when Chevy upgrades their Allison transmission. The Allison can't handle much more power it has now. Fords 6R140, like the name implies was designed to handle 1400 pound feet of TK. So after 2012 they should be back in full HP battle mode again.
