I am planning on doing a Pronghorn trip in late Sept. early Oct.I've never been in the area. Just wondering if there are any full hookup parks in the Casper area ? Really looking forward to seeing your state..

Casper RV Parks leave a lot to be desired but we like the KOA the best. We have family in Casper so are there quite a bit and have tried them all... The others have a ton of working folks staying there that are not really campers...

The newest RV park in Casper is called Rivers Edge and it's located a couple miles east of town and is actually right on the banks of the Platte river. I've never stayed there but I have seen it and feel that it's one of the nicer parks in town.
Their web site is http://www.riversedgervresort.net/

I LOVE to go Wyoming and camp in the Shirley Basin about 2 miles from from the road. We camp just south of the old abandoned town or trailer park of Shirley Basin. Its on the west side of 487. You can forget about hookups you hardly have phone service. Don knows wear it is. And after we camp an Shirley Basin we go up on Union Pass to trout fish. We camp at about 9400 feet. Love It
