You don't need a PhD in Physics to understand that much weight that high off the ground is going to be more than a bit tipsy. A dually would help a bit as it's stance is wider but I don't think I would risk my truck much less my life with that type of setup. Most especially while towing a bumper pull which tends to be squirrely to start with.

Can it be done, Yes. Can it be done and be confident you are operating a safe vehicle? If you answer yes to that do me a favor and always stay BEHIND ME on the highway!

Did the truck break? Was it modified? There has to be some behind the scenes stuff that happened.

Overloaded, probably not. Safe, also probably not. Average weight of a side-by-side is roughly 1000lbs. Putting that kind of weight up that high will significantly raise the center of gravity. Even with a weight distributing hitch, if and when that thing gets "squirrelly" it will be damn near uncontrollable. I carried high cube freight for years in a tractor trailer and always hated those loads and my big truck was made for that.

This is just another example of "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

On the other hand, I am looking at the idea of getting a medium duty truck to tow the 5th wheel and putting a three wheel motorcycle behind the cab. The difference being that truck would be more than capable and the motorcycle would be flat on the bed. On those trucks you can set the 5th wheel hitch slightly aft of the axle as your well within any weight limits of the vehicle. We have one in our park that has special lift ramps and they take two motorcycles with them.

With our enclosed trailer hitched to our current 1 ton, I would have no problem with putting a toy in the bed IF it was flat on the floor and didn't push our weight to high.

I'm not too worried if it's an F350.. more than capable of both SxS and trailer especially with a load leveling hitch. The pickup looks like it has a front end leveling kit, otherwise it would look fine. The wheeler probably in the 15-1600 lbs.max it's one of the smaller ones.

60 to 65 Yes! I don't pull anything over 65. Doubt he is maxing his payload but probably close. I'd just chuckle at 65 but I have a 2019 F350 dually.

Here is an F150 pulling a freight train... All legal and safe.

F-150 vs Freight train.

I'd say the OP guy is good.

Other option is to pull like this. I doubt the OPs 4x4 is higher or heavier than this 5vr nose.

That truck probably has a leveling kit installed on it to level the front with the back. Normally trucks are higher in the rear when new to make up for carrying stuff in the bed. With the leveling kit installed any weight in the rear will squat the rear down compared to the front.

Does not look like front leveling to me.

He's ok. Just needs some airbags to get his headlights out of the sky.

I bet without a trailer hooked to the back the front and rear are level. A lot of times you can't put big tires on the front without rubbing unless you add spacers or a leveling kit to the front springs. Once you have it level it looks fine but throw any type of weight on the bed and it will squat real fast.

Look at the first photo at the start of the post, the truck is low in the rear without the trailer hooked up.

When he adds the trailer with the WDH it will level out the truck, yes? I simply don't know.

The latest picture is with the trailer attached and the rear of the truck is lower than without the trailer attached.

I wanna meet the guy that made that strap.

Had a friend years ago that had Electrac garden tractors. Made by GE with electric motors. He took them to tractor pulls until they banned him. The gas tractors couldn't compete against the torque of the electric motors.

Maybe he would like a electric pickup to pull his camper in California.
