Last year, we stayed at Sleepy Hollow Lake, a CG near Akron, NY. It is a Passport America affiliate. So you can get two or three days at half price. These people were extremely kind to me when Dianna broke her leg on our Niagara Falls trip. They kept my rig for Four days until I could get back to pick it up.
I called them and related the difficulty I was in and they said, "Ok, just take care of your wife. Your rig will be here when you return."
When I came to pick up the Montana, they charged me $5.00 per day for the time I was gone. It is easy for me to recommend this park.

Stiles recommendation sounds good, but another alternative that friends of ours use, is the Four mile Creek State Park, that is near the north end of the Niagara River.

Still another is Daisy Barn Campground. The pictures on the home page speak for themselves. The CG is about 20 miles east of Niagra Falls. Not far from Four Mile.
Lorraine and I stayed here for a week a few years ago and YES we would go back.

I second the KOA there it was really nice and was close when you wanted to go into Canada, also it was close to an Indian reservation and at the time the diesel there was really cheap.

Theres also Evangola state park about 25 miles south and Lake Erie State park about 60 miles south, both easily accessed off I-90. Lake Erie state park has some great lakefront 50amp sites with spectacular sunsets. We live in the area and stay there regularly.

Four Mile Creek State Park is a very nice campground. We stayed there for a week last summer. We had sites that backed up to Lake Ontario, within 25/30 feet. The view is wonderful and the sunsets are spectacular. The drive into Niagara is only 20/5 minutes. We would stay here again when we return for another visit.

We are staying at four mile creek state park. It is a nice park and the sunset tonight was beautiful. We will be here for two days. Don't think it will be long enough but we have campvention in Pa to go to.
